Alessandro Armetta
Palermo, 1996Lives and works between Palermo and Torino

Graduated in 2015 from the Eustachio Catalano Art School in Palermo, he graduated in 2021 at the Academy of Fine Arts in Palermo.
His research focuses mainly on sculpture and installation practice, finding the constant use of wood and iron materials, in continuous reuse and assembly.
In 2021 he exhibited in a single show at Contemporary Cluster in Rome.
In 2022 he participated in the collective Re-abitare at the Amleto Bertoni Foundation of Saluzzo, in which he won the IGAV prize and exhibited a monumental sculpture in the exhibition of public art "The Interrupted Journey to Unteraegeri" in Switzerland.
In 2022 and 2023 he participated in a residency project at Paratissima in Cavallerizza and to the Murazzi in Turin, exhibiting in final restitution projects.
In 2024, he attended a major international event, as well as the triennial Sculpture "Bad Ragartz" in Switzerland.
In 2025 he will bring a single-show immersive installation in the gallery "Maurizio Caldirola" in Monza.
